A Picture Sometimes Says It All
We have heard the saying that a picture is worth a thousand words. If this picture could talk, what would it be saying?
This week, I would like for you to write a caption for this picture. Why is this broom standing alone in the kitchen? Tell me your thoughts on this photo.
Then I would like for you to locate and post a picture that speaks volumes to you. This picture may be one you come across in a book, magazine, or on the interenet. It might even be a photograph that you have taken yourself. I can’t wait to see what you find and post!
I think that is so cool. I am going to try that when I first get home. It is kind of weird though.
that is so cool. i am going to try that right when i walk in the door! you are an awesome teacher!
Supposedly this will work throughout the month of October. I just wish I could get my broom to sweep by itself too!
I think the news said that the planets have moved into a pattern so brooms can do that kind of stuff. But anyway THATS AWESOME!!!
That is exactly what I heard on the news too. The broom will no longer stand after the month of October. Did you try it out?
this broom is probably thinking “i am soooooo bored. oh no. she has a new broom!!!!!!!!!!! love stinks.”
Dear Mrs.carrington,
How in the world did you do that? With all this gravity around I thought that you could never pull that off! I think that broom would be saying, of course if it had a mouth and a brain “Why did she leave me here all alone? Couldn’t she at least of turned on the T.V.? Drat! I was going to watch tonights game! I heard that it was going a be a good one! (Gasp) Wait! Is that her on the porch? Who cares about the game I can watch the replays tomorrow or something while she is gone at work maybe! Alright! she is unlocking the front door.
Jessica,
Too funny! I bet my broom would love being able to watch T.V. I may have to let my puppy dog keep it company too so it won’t get lonely. You are so creative! I love the way you answered this question.
Mrs. C.
P.S. Don’t forget to capitalize my name.
Mrs. Carrington, I did not now that a broom could stand up until Mrs. Drenen came down to study hall showing the whole 5th grade i was so amazed can you contact me as soon as possible because I am of to eat dinner. I will talk to you afterwards.
My broom is still standing by itself, Kaylee.
That broom is saying “I need a new job.”
DearMrs.Carrington,
Sorry about not capitalizing your name. I was just in a hurry. Because my mom would of let me stay on her laptop longer but I had not had dinner yet, and she wanted to get on and play games. By the way have you ever heard of bubble town?
No problem, Jessica. I understand. Now remember not to use your last name, please. I am going to edit this post and take out your last name. Remember to stay safe on the internet.
Sorry Mrs.Carrinngton. My moms laptot just by its self
adds my last name to it.
Jessica
P.S.- I really, truly am sorry!
Not a problem, Jessica. I just want to keep you safe when you are on-line.
